About
I believe that academic administration is a profoundly creative act, and to do it I draw on the skills in collaboration, facilitation, storytelling, and project management that I honed in my creative career.
As a scholar, I am guided by a fascination with the limits and uses of the archive, as well as the cultural significance of popular entertainments.
My greatest strength as a teacher is getting my students to jump before they think they’re ready, to ask bold questions, and to capture that wild work in their art and scholarship.
